This is one of the parts of a visit people often tell me they look forward to most.

Cranial work is very gentle and uses light, subtle contact around the head.

It gives the body some quiet, focused input while everything has a moment to settle. Many people notice they feel very relaxed during this part of their visit, which is why it tends to be a favourite 🤩

If you’ve been feeling like your system has been running a bit busy lately, this is something we can include as part of your visit 💛

Ever noticed you’ve been clenching your jaw at night?

We often see people in clinic who notice their jaw feeling tight, tired, or working a bit harder than it should. This can relate to things like clenching, chewing habits, or just day to day load building up over time.

Just like any other part of the body, the jaw and surrounding muscles can feel restricted. It’s something we include as part of a broader check to look at how everything is working together.

It’s rarely just one simple stretch. It’s about understanding what’s contributing and how your body is adapting overall.

Jaw tension can sometimes sit alongside things like neck tension or headaches, so we take a whole body view including how the jaw, neck and nervous system are working together.

If you’ve been noticing your jaw feeling a bit off, tight, or uncomfortable, it’s something we can assess as part of your visit ⭐

In practice we often assess how different joints and tissues are moving, then re-check after hands-on work.

Sometimes you can see a change in how the body moves straight away 🕺

Every person responds differently, but these quick re-checks give useful information about how the body is adapting in the moment.

If you’ve noticed your hips feeling stiff or restricted, it’s something we can assess in clinic 😁

Spinal health isn’t just about reacting to pain. It’s about maintaining capacity while things already feel good 💛

Many everyday postures don’t feel problematic in the moment, but repeated loading over time adds up. The body adapts quietly until a stress threshold is reached.

When that happens, it often only takes a small movement to tip into discomfort, like bending down to pick up a pen.

Supporting spinal health early is about staying adaptable, not waiting for the body to demand attention ✨

Adaptability matters.
Support the system, not just the symptoms.
Normal life still needs good support 🌿

Every body is different - and so is every adjustment ✨

Chiropractic care isn’t one-size-fits-all. Different techniques and approaches are used depending on the individual - their body, how their nervous system is adapting, and what they’re comfortable with.

Some people prefer very gentle input, others respond well to firmer styles, and care is always tailored to suit that 🧠

The approach is chosen to match the person in front of me 🙌

The neck plays an important role in how information travels between the body and the head.

When movement in the cervical spine is restricted, that communication can change, which is why care here can be relevant for people who experience head or neck tension.

It’s not about chasing symptoms, but supporting how the system works as a whole.

Bodies adapt to everyday stress all the time.

Sometimes that looks like waking up a bit stiff or sore after sleeping in an awkward position (hello couch naps 😅). And sometimes, that settles quickly without becoming a bigger issue.

Little niggles don’t always mean something is “wrong,” they’re often part of normal life. What matters is the body’s capacity to adapt and return to ease.

Supporting that adaptability can include regular care, movement, and paying attention to things like sleep setup and posture. When those pieces are working together, the body tends to handle small stresses more smoothly over time.

Waking at night with tingling in the hand can have a few different contributors, it’s not always just about the hand itself.

The neck, shoulder, and elbow can all influence how nerves are loaded, especially during sleep. That’s why having those areas properly assessed is important before relying on quick fixes.

Once those factors have been looked at, simple sleep positioning can make a difference for some people. Hugging a pillow can help support the shoulders and reduce strain overnight, which may help reduce night-time tingling for some.

Small changes, combined with the right assessment, can go a long way 🌙

In this scenario, the car is your body 🚗

The flashing lights and weird noises are those early warning signs - little niggles, stiffness, changes in how things feel that we often brush off because everything is still “working” ⚠️

Pain is usually the last thing to show up

When we stay reactive, it’s hard to feel like the body is really working FOR us. A more proactive approach supports better movement, adaptability, and ease over time ✨

Balanced leg checks are one way we assess how the body is adapting neurologically after an adjustment.

It’s not about leg length, it’s about balance and communication.

It’s a bit like driving with a dirty windscreen.

You don’t realise how much you’ve been tolerating until the wipers go on and suddenly everything’s clearer.

It’s common to arrive at an adjustment feeling fine, and leaving feeling lighter, clearer, and more at ease.

We get used to normal. That doesn’t always mean optimal.
