🟣 Today is World IBD Day 🟣
We're standing with the millions of people around the world living with Inflammatory Bowel Diseases.

We understand how challenging IBD can be, and while no supplement is a cure, the right support can make a real difference.

Our mission is to offer gentle, science-backed nutrition and support for those managing digestive discomfort, flare-ups, and sensitive systems.

💜 If you’re living with IBD or supporting someone who is — we see you, we support you, and we’re here to help.

Let’s keep raising awareness, sharing stories, and continuing to support each other.

There are over 5 million people worldwide who are challenged daily by the symptoms of Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis (also known as Inflammatory Bowel Disease or "IBD"). 20,000 of them live in our small country, which has the third highest rates of these diseases in the world. This is approximately the same number as those who have type 1 diabetes. Many people with IBD are diagnosed after years of delay, resulting in worse outcomes.
Today marks a World IBD Day. It acknowledges people of all ages who are affected by these diseases, from the very young to the very elderly. These are silent diseases for which there is no cure. They cause symptoms that most people would have difficulty imagining: chronic bloody diarrhoea, severe abdominal pain, and intractable fatigue. While no “cure” for IBD exists, pharmacological and surgical management of symptoms – accompanied by education and self management strategies – can often support the patient’s return to their normal daily activities.
Our team of specialists and allied health professionals in MacMurray Centre have expert knowledge and clinical experience in treatment and diagnosis of Inflammatory Bowel Disease in children and adults.
