We see a lot of poor posture in our community, and yours may be affecting your health more than you think. So, this May we are giving our community the opportunity to undergo a FREE digital posture assessment.
All you need to do is:
1. Get someone to use your phone to take two photos of you; one front on, and one side on. (See tips for best results below)
2. Start a conversation with us below to upload the photos.
3. Tell us about your current health concerns (see examples of symptoms commonly associated with postural stress below)
Weโll have a posture report back to you within 2 business days.
Some tips for more accurate posture reports:
Take a few steps on the spot with your eyes closed before standing still for the photo to ensure your posture pics represent as close to your โnormalโ as possible.
Clothing that allows us to visualise your hips, knees and shoulders is recommended for proper, uniform and reliable assessment of the body margins. Gym clothes are great but if your clothes are baggy, tuck in or use clothes pins to โtighten upโ the clothes against the body for better postural analysis.
Make sure the full body is visible in both photos. You need to be visible from head to toe in both photos.
Lastly, do your best to ensure the camera is parallel to the ground and that you are standing square-on to the camera.
