Today we’re recognising our reception team for everything they do to keep our practice running day in and day out.

They’re often the first point of contact, helping patients, supporting our clinicians, and making so much of what we do possible.

Thank you for your hard work, care, and commitment 💙

It’s International Nurses Day! 🩺✨

A huge thank you to our nurses for the hard mahi that you do every single day of the year to support our practice and patients.

It goes without saying that nurses do so much to care for their patients, and are the backbone of a strong healthcare system.

To our wonderful nurses, Pooja and Prabhjot, and our HCA Ashika – we thank you for your tireless compassion and commitment to supporting our community.

💛 Perinatal Mental Health Awareness Week 💛

The journey into parenthood can be full of joy – but it can also bring unexpected emotional challenges. During pregnancy and in the first year after birth, many parents find themselves feeling anxious, low, overwhelmed, or not quite like themselves. You’re not alone – these experiences are more common than people often realise, for both mums and dads.

💚 - Perinatal Anxiety and Depression Aotearoa leads this annual campaign to raise awareness and advocate for better perinatal mental health outcomes across Aotearoa.

This week is about reminding parents that support is available and that it’s okay to ask for help. If you or your partner are finding things tough, our team is here to listen, support, and walk alongside you – every step of the way. 💙

If this speaks to you, please reach out to your GP or practice team. You deserve care too.

💤 Today is World Sleep Day!

Sleep is essential for your overall health and wellbeing. While you sleep, your body gets to work – repairing tissues, supporting physical healing, and strengthening your immune system. Your brain is busy too, processing memories, helping you concentrate, and regulating emotions.

Getting enough good‑quality sleep can improve your mood, energy levels and focus, and plays an important role in long‑term health. Poor sleep, on the other hand, can affect both your physical and mental wellbeing.

If you’re struggling with sleep, small lifestyle changes like reduced screentime before bed, and following a regular routine, can make a big difference. Patients can book a free appointment with our Health Coach, Puluafi, who can support you with practical strategies to get your sleep back on track.
