September is Cervical Screening Awareness Month 🩷

It's your annual reminder to take a test that could save your life. If you’re between 25 and 69 years old and you have a cervix, you need to have an HPV screen every five years. Having a screening reduces your risk of developing cervical cancer. There is now a new self-swab option available, where you can do the test yourself in private at your GP clinic. If you would like to book an appointment, contact our friendly reception team on 09 550 2146.

Blue September: a call to action for men's health 🩵

Blue September is dedicated to educating Kiwis about prostate cancer, the most common cancer among New Zealand men. A key focus is on encouraging men to get regular prostate checks, because catching any issues early can lead to much better health outcomes.

The month is a call to action for men's health, encouraging men to take care of their overall wellbeing. Let’s make health a regular part of the conversation - not just in September, but all year round.
