Hi everyone, we are reaching a new stage in our lock-down status which many of you may have mixed feelings about, depending what your personal circumstances are. I do hope that the last four weeks have brought some pleasure, connecting and fun in amongst the uncertainty, anxiety and stress. And I acknowledge there will have been none of this for some people.
For myself it has been quieter than usual re new referrals, however my clients and I have been continuing great and effective work together by phone and Skype. It is a different way of being together, more intimate in some ways, and more distance in others.
The opportunity to ‘stay in place’ has afforded some time, not a huge amount, but sufficient to reflect and to allow my mind to rest enough to get some creative thoughts coming through! How I love the return of creativity……
In this particular time, I think the focus is probably on containing anxiety, fear of /for the future and perhaps doubts of own capacity for resilience and strength as we navigate the changes.
There is a wealth of resources around at this time, and I will share some in the coming days, which may or may not connect with you, but at the very least may take you into exploring some for yourself and finding some that do!!
For now, breathe into the slight relaxation of the limits on our movements, and if your circumstances allow, value this remaining time available at this slowed pace.
Warmest Jennifer
