Measles update - Auckland region

We’ve confirmed one additional case of measles, bringing the total number of known cases to 14.

This latest case was at Auckland Grammar School during their infectious period on Friday 24 October. Students in Years 9 and 10 may have been exposed and are currently in quarantine while their immunity is checked.

We are working with the school to confirm immunity today. Students who are immune will be able to return to school on Monday 3 November.

We’re grateful to the Auckland Grammar community for their patience and cooperation. All staff and students are asked to stay alert for measles symptoms over the next two weeks.
