Allied Health services at Alert Level 3 and 4

At Alert Level 4, Allied Health services can only be delivered face-to-face to preserve life and limb.
At Alert Level 3 the Ministry of Health has confirmed that face-to-face services can be provided for urgent care only, with appropriate measures to manage public health.

This means:
to preserve life or limb;
or treatment is required to maintain the basic necessities of life;
or treatment can't be delayed or carried out remotely without risk of significant harm or permanent and/or significant disability;
or failure to access services will lead to an acute deterioration of a known condition;
or delay in access to services will impact the person's ability to maintain functional independence and significantly negatively impact quality of life AND treatment can't be delivered by a service which is currently operating or by clinicians that are already in contact with the person.

👀In short, in the case of level 3 lockdown, if your pain or other medical condition prevents you from moving and living normally, such as sciatica, you can book with us. We only do at most 4 treatments per day in level 3 lockdown.

Many people think that the environment was getting better when we were in lockdown alert level 4 and 3. Now we are open for business, we believe these disposable sheets, masks, and gloves will eventually end up in landfilled.They may take many years to degrade. In order not to increase the burden on the environment, we replaced a single plastic tube for each needle and to 10 needles one plastic tube package. Needles are still single used, but it is more environmentally friendly.
