The internet is FULL of misinformation 🤨

If you need nutrition/dietary advice please don’t turn to TikTok….. find a fully qualified health professional who can set you an eating plan then guide you through the process. Or….. eat what you are already eating but reduce your portion size…. That works for me when I want to shift a kilo or 2 and it means I don’t have to cut out any of my favourite foods 😋

‘Text Neck’ is now a medically recognised injury. Your head is already REALLY HEAVY and then when you put it forward to look down at your phone (or tablet or laptop) it feels even heavier stressing out all the tissues! Keep your device at eye level and find a good physio or trainer who can teach you some good exercises to keep the muscles and joints strong (yes there are specific exercises fir your neck 🤪)

If money is a barrier for your health goals (gym memberships can be a LOT, Pilates classes even more!) then there are lots of great free options. Obvious choices are going for a run or brisk walk, there are also lots of workouts on you-tube that you can follow along with and that don’t require fancy equipment. We also offer the service of setting you a home programme (we can come to your house) and then progressing that programme every month or 2 keeping you accountable to your trainer but keeping costs much lower than a weekly membership. Have you focused your training on all of these muscles this week? Working only the superficial layers may add strength and definition, but strength without stability is like building a big beautiful house on crappy foundations….
