Another client spotlight! We’re highlighting Tipene and the incredible mahi he and his family are doing in the realm of speech. Their dedication is truly inspiring!
“Since attending Speech Therapy sessions, Tipene is more confident, more vocal and trying to have conversations with other kids. He wasn’t approaching other children before at all, but will now approach and try to start a conversation through action (like stomping his feet), he is also interacting more with his older cousins. The wider family is starting to notice changes in his desire to communicate and interact with them. He took his Auntie’s hand for the first time the other day. He also said “Nan” for the first time on a video chat with his grandma. He will now wave at people, and is saying some words like ‘nah’ and ‘baby’. “
