Flawless Motion Ltd Margie Olds is a specialist shoulder physiotherapist who has developed a range of shoulder braces. These braces decrease risk of dislocation.

Many athletes demonstrate good shoulder control during slow predictable rehabilitation exercises.
But sport is different
Sport involves:
-speed
-contact
-rapid deceleration
-unpredictable movement
-and reactive control under load
That’s often when instability appears
Not necessarily because the athlete lacks strength- but because controlling movement at speed is a very different challenge
That’s why rehab needs to reflect sporting demand.
And why external bracing also needs to function effectively:
- under speed
- under fatigue
- and in chaotic sporting environments

Shoulders rarely fail fresh.

Most instability episodes don’t occur:
• at the start of training
• during controlled rehab
• or under ideal conditions

They occur:
• under fatigue
• under speed
• under unpredictability

Fatigue changes control strategies.

And that matters in shoulder instability.

What do you need from a shoulder brace?
Compression, rigid blocks or progressive deceleration to high risk positions.
Remember anterior shoulder@instability typically occurs in abduction + external rotation, while posterior instability is more likely in flexion + internal rotation.
Flawless Motion straps can be configured to decelerate limbs into these positions

Hard Stop or Progressive Deceleration ?
Many restrains allow free movement…. Until they don’t.
That creates an abrupt end-range stop
In contrast, progressive restraint;
-increases resistance through range
-allows graded deceleration
Better matches how athletes move
Control is rarely binary in sport

Compression vs. Control
Compression feels supportive
But instability is directional
And that matters even more in female athletes, where multidirectional instability often has a predominant direction of instability

Flawless Motion is now stocked in the United Kingdom.

• UK-registered medical device
• Local warehouse distribution
• Faster access for clinicians and athletes

Our focus remains the same — instability-specific design that supports safe progression toward return to sport.

Protection.
Stability.
Confidence.

If you work with contact or overhead athletes managing instability, we’re now locally accessible within the UK.

Instability is not always unilateral.

Some athletes experience bilateral laxity or evolving symptoms over time.

The modular Flex Core system allows:
• Unilateral configuration
• Bilateral configuration
• Adaptability as clinical needs change

Because instability management rarely follows a straight line.

Female athletes are not simply smaller male athletes.

Chest contour, strap tolerance, comfort and fit matter — particularly in high-load sport.

That’s why we developed women-specific models for both anterior and multidirectional instability.

Protection should not mean compromise in comfort or function.

Have you seen female athletes struggle with standard brace designs?

Flawless Motion did not begin as a commercial product.

It began as a clinical problem.

Managing recurrent instability in contact athletes often left a gap between rehabilitation progress and safe return to sport. Early prototypes were restrictive and heavy. Over time, they evolved into lighter, instability-specific systems.

Every design iteration came from real patient need.

Clinical problems require clinical solutions.

This brace was not built in a marketing meeting.

It evolved from years of managing recurrent instability in contact athletes.

From restrictive early prototypes…
To lightweight anterior models…
To modular bilateral systems.

Clinical problems require clinical solutions.
