When shedding increases, it’s natural to want to do less — less washing, less brushing, less touching.
But most hair shedding occurs before the hair reaches your brush or the shower. Avoiding washing or brushing doesn’t prevent hair loss; it often just means shed hairs stay trapped and fall out all at once later.
It’s also important to know that hair shedding seen today often reflects what was happening in the body around 2–3 months earlier — not what you did this week.
What matters most is understanding why the shedding is happening and using appropriate care, rather than avoiding everything out of fear.
