Kids spend a lot of time with their heads forward. 📱
At school, they’re leaning over desks, writing, reading, or working on computers. Then, when they get home, there’s often even more time on phones, tablets, or gaming. 🎮
When the head sits forward like this, it puts a lot more load on the neck. A head that normally weighs around 4–5 kg can place up to 20–25 kg of pressure on the spine in that position.
School holidays can be a good time to bring the kids in for a check and help take some of that pressure off their growing spine.
Our Year 4 and 5 Chiropractic Interns, guided by experienced Chiropractic Centre mentors, are here to help keep young spines moving well. 🧠
