WEATHER UPDATE. Cyclone Vaianu has moved away from New Zealand but for many communities, the clean-up and recovery continues. That includes restoring power to properties hit hard by the weather over the weekend.

Our team is still here to help and support customers as needed. Please remember:

🙏 We know there are still communities without power in the Coromandel Peninsula, Bay of Plenty and the East Coast of the North Island.
⚡ Your lines companies will be out again today assessing the damage and working hard to reconnect communities as quickly and safely as they can.
⚠️ For your safety, stay at least 10m away from downed lines and poles - that's about the length of a bus - and treat them as live at all times.
