We are a couple in our 40’s with a lot of love to give to our future child. We are young at heart, introspective, sensitive, love to laugh and never ready to give up. We have faced many challenges together and came out stronger (parent with terminal illness, working on our selves in therapy to ensure past traumas don’t get repeated). We know that life is not all rainbows 🌈 and unicorns 🦄 (although we will be happy to buy all the themed merchandise)😀
We would like to keep some form of ongoing contact with the donor and her family, without too much pressure and also allowing things to develop naturally. We’re planning to tell the child from the beginning, we think it’s important for them to know their origin, and it will be an amazing story anyway.
Unfortunately the last couple of years we’ve had a few set backs with everything falling through at the last minute, which makes us feel like we’re running out of time.
