The majority of humanity lives within a relatively small bandwidth of latitude. This is one of my all time favourites. It was created by radicalcartography.net in 2008. A true classic! buff.ly/436j6Zd

WHAT: This is a two-day course plus pre-reading time with a maximum of 32 participants.

The first day is an interactive lecture and lab day where you learn the theory stuff and discuss and practice any airway issues you have with our airway gurus,

The second day is a hands-on day at the Auckland Anatomy Lab where you will practise your procedural skills (airway and others) on the cadavers.

Target Participants: SMO or MOSS practising in Emergency Medicine.

What Makes this course different from the others: Apart from the usual airway stuff, we are planning to throw in some extra like lateral cathotomy! The course fees also include a course dinner on Friday at a fine dining restaurant in Auckland.

We all know that IV adrenaline (along with CPR) is standard of care for
patients in cardiac arrest with non-shockable rhythms. But… did you know
there really hasn't been any well controlled trials to see if it really
makes a difference in endpoints such as improved survival and
neurologically intact survival outcomes? M.W. Donnino and his team in
Boston have just published a study that shows it just might.

This was the largest randomized, placebo-controlled trial yet of antivemon
efficacy in widow spider envenomation. Widow spiders (Redback in
