Term 4 / Spring Programmes Coming Soon!

And just like that, we are gearing up for our next termly programme release! From 10am, Saturday 9th August please head over to www.recreate.org.nz to view our upcoming programmes for all regions from the September/October school holidays all the way to Christmas.

From Saturday 9th August, the window for making booking requests will be open for one week before our team begins to process all requests. We hope you like what we have on offer!

The first week of our July holiday period featured our Youth Camp on the shore of Lake Karapiro at Camp Epworth. These adventurous 4 days away allowed memorable moments on the high ropes course, archery and ziplining through Step Outdoors.

Thank you to our repeat camp participants for being so welcoming to our first time campers at Recreate, and of course to our team of facilitators and volunteers for leading these action-packed days!

Our next camp in the September/October holidays will be on the shores of the Manukau Harbour at Clarks Beach, see you then 🏐🚣‍♀️🙌☀️

The good times kept rolling in the July holiday period, with our 4-day Getaway to Paihia and Northland.

We loved learning about the local history through the Waitangi Treaty Grounds with a special tour, and wandering through the Russell Museum Whare Taonga o Kororareka.

Ngā mihi nui Northland for such wonderful hospitality!

As we wrap our Holiday Programmes for July, let's look back on a few memorable moments in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland!

We loved our time with Chewy from Rhythm for the Soul, the Lego Masters crew, seeing the Gruffalo live, Burgers and Mini golf, Inflatable World, Op Shop and Fashion Show, Bowling, and so much more!

Another huge highlight, our 4 day Youth Camp at Camp Epworth in the Waikato alongside Lake Karapiro last week (recap coming next week!)

Thank you to all our fabulous participants, volunteers and facilitators who have made these two weeks a lot of fun!

Next week our team will mainly be office-based as we prep for Term 3 Life Skills and Moxie work experience programmes, and of course all our other Urban, Getaway, Short Break and Adventure programming!

Over these two weeks we have Youth Camps at Epworth in the Waikato and Hanmer Springs in Canterbury, Getaways to Napier, Ohakune and Paihia, and our regular Holiday Programme days across the motu.
