Great environment. The bones (the skeleton) are the scaffolding of the body.

Iyengar Yoga:
For years Guruji practiced and taught yoga, gradually realizing the healing benefits when applying alignment, precision and intelligence in the sequencing ofĺ each asana. The brilliance of Mr Iyengar's discovery of a simple piece of equipment, i.e. to stretch hamstrings the student can simply lie down supine (on his/her back) & hook a strap around one foot raising that leg to enable

the leg to straighten, meanwhile press the other leg onto the floor. This simple way of working poses with a clear description from well-trained Iyengar Teachers will not only physically improve the length of the hamstrings but it can enhance an athletes performance, relieve backache & even bring a student into learning how to straighten their legs. And that is just one example. Eventually students become far more aware of their bodies, having the same ability with the mind. Aligning Body, Mind & Breath

Great sequence, try it out.

This 30-minute class features standing poses practiced with the front foot placed up the wall—heel grounded and ball of the foot pressing upward at a 45-degree angle. This unique setup enhances your ability to rotate the pelvis and chest together, helping to activate often-neglected areas of the body in twisting standing poses. By bringing you closer to the wall, it also allows the upper arm to press against it for additional leverage, deepening the rotational actions in poses such as Trikonasana, Parsvakonasana, Parsvottanasana, and Parivrtta Trikonasana. Ideal for busy days or as a targeted supplement to longer sessions, this class builds integrated twisting awareness and prepares the body for more advanced standing and seated twist work. Weekly Advanced Class 398 has just been released. Head to the website to stream the class.

Wonderful

On his 88th birthday, Morgan Freeman didn’t just blow out candles—he lit up hope for thousands of forgotten souls. The legendary actor donated a staggering $11 million to create a sanctuary for stray and abandoned dogs. In a world that too often turns a blind eye to their suffering, Freeman’s act is a powerful reminder that compassion still leads the way.

This safe haven won’t just be a shelter—it will be a place of healing, love, and second chances. From wagging tails to grateful eyes, the lives changed by his kindness will be countless.

At 88, Freeman continues to use his voice not just for storytelling, but for advocacy. And now, thanks to him, so many dogs who once had no one will finally have a forever place to call home.

Because true greatness isn’t just in talent—it’s in heart. 🐶💛

Our Story

Iyengar Yoga is a style of yoga named after an amazing man who just turned 95 in December 2013. He's also now been put forward for a NOBEL PEACE PRIZE. Mr Iyengar whilst practicing yoga himself many years ago discovered the use of props (equipment) to enable the student to meet the pose & have the ability to extend & strengthen all muscle groups, to align the bones, (the skeletal scaffolding of the body). The brilliance of Mr Iyengar's discovery of a simple piece of equipment, i.e. to stretch hamstrings the student can simply lie down supine(on back) & hook a strap around one foot raising that leg to enable the leg to straighten, meanwhile press the other leg onto the floor. This simple way of working poses with a clear description from well-trained Iyengar Teachers will not only physically improve the length of the hamstrings but it can enhance an athletes performance, relieve backache & even bring a student into learning how to straighten their legs. And that is just one example of an area of the body. Eventually students become far more aware of their bodies. having the same ability of their mind. Aligning Body, Mind & Breath
