‘Tis the season for taping courses!

With the season kicking off around the country, taping courses are in full swing.

We are proud to support these sessions with tape and supplies to help new grads and student physiotherapists get hands-on and confident with taping techniques.

Want to learn the basics of sports strapping or build on your skills?

We have two Strapping Clinics coming up in Ōamaru - Beginner, on March 18, and Advanced, on April 8.

Both clinics will be led by Mike Stewart and Joel Brosnan from Oamaru Physiotherapy, alongside Carol Harding, Head of Medic Services for North Otago Rugby, and will cover practical taping techniques.

USL Sport Healthcare has aligned with the Otago University Rugby Football Club, Otago Rugby Union and The Recovery Room Physio Clinic and will be holding a Strapping Clinic at the Uni RFC Club Room on Tuesday 31 March at 6pm.

A few weeks back, the USL team had the privilege of being at the Mount Festival of Multisport in beautiful Mt Maunganui. USL Sport was proud to be there as a sponsor, supported by Formthotics and Vitalize. It was an incredible event - from cheering on athletes giving everything they had, to connecting with so many of you throughout the day.

We were also thrilled to support participants with Dermal Therapy SPF50+ Lip Balm and BioRevive Dry Ears. Huge thanks to Dermal Therapy and BioRevive for backing the athletes.

In the weeks since, our thoughts have been with everyone in the region. Reflecting on the festival feels especially meaningful - the strength, unity, and resilience we saw on the course we know will be carrying through now as the community rallies, supports and looks out for each other.
