We'd like to take the opportunity introduce another new team member, Mia Clarke!

Mia comes to Hobsonville Podiatry as an intermediate Podiatrist. Since graduating, she has been working in private practice whilst completing post graduate study and lecturing at AUT.

Before Podiatry, Mia served for seven years as a medic in the New Zealand Army. This experience fostered a strong appreciation for the role of the lower limb in overall health, mobility, and function, and shaped her calm, practical approach to patient care.

Mia is in the clinic Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays & looks forward to helping you with any foot, ankle or lower limb complaints!

We'd like to take the opportunity to introduce one of our new Podiatrists: Miles Broderick!

Before moving into Podiatry, Miles spent over eight years working as a Registered Nurse in orthopaedics and ICU, giving him a solid grounding in complex care, wound management, and practical clinical decision‑making.

Miles has a passion for sports injuries & lower limb biomechanics. He enjoys helping people get back to moving comfortably and doing what they love!

Melanoma New Zealand’s Skin Cancer Spot Check Van will be in Greenhithe next Wednesday to offer free skin cancer spot checks and raise awareness about the importance of early detection and prevention of melanoma.

The FREE spot check van will be at the following location:

8 Greenhithe Road
Greenhithe

Wednesday 2nd March
11.30am to 3.30pm

Yesterday we had a talk from Gill Melanoma New Zealand. Giving us a refresher about skin lesions - what is benign and what is sinister. We even got a turn with the derma-scope to check out our own lesions!

Thanks Deb for organising & reminding us to look after our skin.

Deb is riding the length of NZ to raise money for Melanoma NZ and Hospice in memory of her late husband, Dave.

Our lovely morning receptionist, Deb, finished up with us on Monday & is about to embark on her next big adventure - riding the length of New Zealand (3000kms!) We wish you all the best Deb 💛 we will miss you!

How it started vs. how it’s going

Back in 2016 when we first moved into the Hobson Centre, I never would have imagined working the way we are currently - spaced appointments, limited people in the clinic, face shields, locked front door & scanning in upon arrival 😷 what an interesting time to be in business! 👀

Despite all the restrictions, the team and I are so thrilled to be back! 👣💪🏼😃
