Welcome to our team Ricky Bell!

Dr Ricky Bell has joined our Waiuku Physio team. Having initially worked as a physio in Australia for over a decade, he has been back working in Aotearoa New Zealand for nearly 15 years. He has extensive experience with a Masters in Manipulative Physiotherapy. He attends to neck & back pain/sports injuries/sprains/strains/headaches. He has also previously worked with many sporting teams in Australia including the Brisbane Bullets Basketball team, Brisbane Broncos RLFC and was the official team physiotherapist for the Queensland Under 19 Women’s Netball team from 1996 - 2001. He was also the team physio for Te Rarawa Rugby Football Club in the Far North Mangonui comp for over a decade. He has a special interest in spinal pathology and sports injuries but attends to all musculoskeletal problems. Through the support of Hapū Whānau he was honoured to be the first Māori to be awarded a PhD from the School of Physiotherapy at the University of Otago in 2018
