Kui-Ra Therapeutic Bodywork © is hands on practical application of mixed media remedial massage (mirimiri) techniques specialising in relaxation massage health and well being & muscle and tension stress relief. Errina uses all core aspects of her own body that is, hands, arms, feet, legs, to help stimulate and manipulate (mirimiri) the body into a state of optimum physical wellness. As well as that, Errina may also use or incorporate the use of kohatu mirimiri (massage stones) hand picked by her either from its natural habitat (the ocean or a river bed) or that of a natural mineral crystal wand (fluorite, selenite, quartz, malachite and the like) and with karakia (prayer) may apply it to the body in either a hot or cold stone application. Errina Angel has had over 30 years hands on practical experience with remedial massage / mirimiri techniques both in cultural and contemporary holistic aspects of wellness and healing and uses a mixture of different massage modalities in her application to bodywork, what Errina refers to as "mixed media bodywork". Errina Angel continues to learn and educate herself regularly in this field with different practices and practitioners from around the country and from international practitioners. Errina Angel has honed and then developed her own unique blend of hands on application of Maori mirimiri/massage that being self taught through discussion, practical application and observation with her grandmother and mother as well as self application to her own body due to having been born with bilateral talipes (club feet) herself. Errina Angel applies mirimiri/massage to her own body and legs every day since the age of three and to her children one who receives the daily therapeutic massage applications to the neck, head and shoulders as part of a relief therapy divised by Errina for her child who has epilepsy and another of her children who receives mirimiri for pain and discomfort due to having being born with a clubfoot. Errina Angel has had her hands on application of remedial therapeutic massage certified by Practitioner / Teacher Ivan Pivac in 1993 in a unique 'hands-on hands' assignment and a series of lectures and practical applications and has attained a Dip.Therapeutic Massage (since 1993).

Errina Angel has also had in-house hands on experience with national and international guests and dignitaries and tours at the Waitangi Resort Hotel now Copthorne Hotel on the Waitangi Treaty Grounds at Waitangi in the Bay of Islands as junior kaimirimiri under the gentle guidance of Matua Bert Hinganganui Johnson Mackie (CEO). Errina Angel credits the quality of life that she enjoys today to the immense whole-listic and physiological benefits of remedial therapeutic massage, both in the giving and the receiving of this beautiful healing craft. Errina Angel wishes to be able to share this gift with everbody and can offer this gentle hands on healing from her home in Whangamata. Errina continues to learn and strengthen her skills and knowledge in this arena.
