Vitiligo occurs when melanocytes (pigment producing cells) stop producing melanin- the pigment that gives your hair, skin and eyes colour. The involved patches of skin become lighter or white.Its unclear currently exactly what causes these pigment cells to fail. sees and presents these clinical visuals to you as the skin consultant .
