Meadowbank Corner Chemist is your locally owned pharmacy and is here to help you. We are open weekdays from 9am to 6pm and Saturdays from 9.30-1.
The Pharmacy is linked to the Ministry’s online database which enables us to dispense medication using electronic prescriptions from any doctor.

In addition to dispensing and retail services, we provide compliance packaging and delivery services. We also message everyone when scripts are ready for pickup and /or send reminders when needed.

Hi Everyone,

I am looking for someone to do one-off flyer drop for our pharmacy. We need someone fairly urgently by this weekend or next week (deliveries can be done anytime during the day). You will need to be physically fit and able to walk around the streets for a few hours at a time.

Areas to be covered are Meadowbank, Remuera, St johns

It is difficult to ascertain the hours required to get through the flyers you will be given, but you will be paid by the hour.

Community Pharmacy Minor Ailments Service

We are pleased to announce that from now until the 30th of September 2023, we will be providing a Minor Ailment Service to diagnose and treat a wide range of minor health conditions.
This is a FREE Service which aims to improve access for people who are unable to access health care (such as seeing their GP) or afford treatment for these minor ailments. This service hopes to reduce the burden on GP clinics and after-hours services.

This service will cover the following conditions:
*Pain and fever
*Diarrhoea
*Dehydration
*Minor eye inflammation and infections
*Minor skin infections
*Eczema and dermatitis
*Scabies
*Headlice

The service will be available for the following:
*Children under 14 years of age
*Whanau members (any age) of a child under 14 years of age with the same symptoms
*Community services card holders
*Maori and Pacific people

There is no appointment necessary. For more information, please do not hesitate to contact us and one of our friendly staff will be able to help you.

*Treatment will be provided if clinically indicated by a pharmacist

What a pleasure and a privilege it has been to serve the Meadowbank community as a local family pharmacy for almost 17 years
It's with regret, but also happiness, that I announce I have sold my pharmacy.
I consider so many of my customers to be friends as well, and I am confident that I am leaving the pharmacy in capable hands.
I have sold to Avneet Lal whom some of you will have met in the last few days, and I'll be helping out here until Thursday .
Avneet and his wife Upashna plan to run the pharmacy pretty much as I have, and I'm sure will look after you well

As for me ...... I'm looking forward to some time off and then will take on some locum work, working a few less hours and maybe getting more Nana time.
