Our 10-week Winter Series at Posturefit Studio begins this week, and these in-person group classes are built to help you realign, rebuild, and restore your body from the inside out.

It’s structured, precise work for people who want real change.

Your Class Options:
Monday 5:30 PM – Postural Strength & Global Postural Stretching
A structured, skill-based strength class that builds deep postural control and integration using:

Functional strength training patterns

Segmental joint stability work

Hovers, lift-offs, and controlled articulations

Global postural stretching to reinforce whole-body tension lines

Ideal if you want to:

Build strength from the stabilisers out

Improve the way you move

Support joint alignment

Train smarter and more intentionally

Wednesday 5:30 PM – Myofascial Stretching & ELDOA Spinal Decompression
A slower, restorative class focused on releasing tension, decompressing the spine, and improving fascial mobility. Includes:

Myofascial stretching to normalise tissue

ELDOA postures for specific spinal decompression

Deep fascial activation for balance and circulation

Ideal if you want to:

Feel more freedom and ease in your structure

Unwind tightness and old tension

Improve recovery, posture, and long-term mobility

Support your nervous system

You can do one class or both — they’re different in focus but work beautifully together.

As a structural-based trainer, my focus is helping clients eliminate pain, improve function, and restore their body’s natural balance.

We all have some imbalance in our body’s structure, but when it becomes too much, it can lead to pain, instability, and inefficient movement.

One of the most important aspects of my work is creating tension integrity, which means tensegrity—equal tension and alignment across the body. Using unilateral training, we target the diagonal slings:
• Anterior (oblique) sling
• Posterior (oblique) sling
• Deep longitudinal sling
• Lateral sling

These slings stabilize and coordinate movement across all planes:
• Sagittal (front to back)
• Frontal (side to side)
• Transverse (rotational movements).

Everyday habits and repetitive activities can create imbalances in these slings. Think about:
• Playing one-sided sports like tennis, golf, or archery
• Playing a musical instrument
• Carrying a baby on one hip
• Leaning to one side while driving
• Standing with your weight shifted to one side

Over time, these patterns disrupt the body’s tensegrity, leading to dysfunction and pain. Through unilateral training, I help re-educate these slings, restore balance, and bring the body back to its natural state of tensegrity—creating equal tension and function across all planes of movement.

Think sitting “perfectly” at your desk is helping your posture? Think again. Staying stuck in any position—even a “good” one—leaves your body stiff, tight, and out of balance.

“Want to test your hip alignment and tension balance? Try this Piriformis Myofascial Stretch:

1️⃣ Set up with both legs together, seated on the floor.
2️⃣ Turn one leg inward to a 90-degree angle.
3️⃣ Sit back towards the midline and take notice of any differences between sides.

Look in a mirror or have someone take a photo to observe how each side feels and looks. You might notice one side feels tighter, doesn’t move as easily, or looks different. These imbalances are common and highlight areas where tension may need to be normalized.

This stretch isn’t about flexibility—it’s about creating equal tension and balance between both sides for healthier, more stable hips.

Of course, there’s a bigger picture when it comes to making meaningful change, but this is a bite-sized way to take a look and start your journey.
