Jin Shin Jyutsu for Animals New Zealand

Jin Shin Jyutsu for Animals New Zealand JSJ is a simple way to connect with your animal, help them thru trauma, illness or surgery. It uses pressure points held in a sequence and is easy to apply

Jin Shin Jyutsu® is an ancient art that works with the bodies subtle energy flows to restore and maintain physical harmony and mental emotional well being. By gently holding specific locations in combined sequences along these energy pathways you can facilitate the release of stress and tension as well as unlocking the body’s innate ability to heal naturally. Jin Shin Jyutsu for animals is and extension of Jin Shin Jyutsu for people. I teach self help classes for working with our animal friends. Animals naturally understand and respond to this non-invasive healing modality and sharing Jin Shin Jyutsu with your animal companion is a deeply rewarding experience.

The Main Central flow is a great all round harmonizer, working with the spine helps everything in the body and can be used daily if working with a project.
It's great for any spinal, hormonal or endocrine condition, also good to use before and after surgery. Working with the spine helps leg and feet projects.
SEQUENCE
Stand on the left side of horse
1. Left Hand (LH) or fingertips on centre of the poll (right behind ears)
Right Hand (RH) on centre 11, 3, 10, 9 (centre between left and right points, on the spine itself – you can hold one area at a time OR just lay your hand over the general withers area.
2. LH moves to withers where RH was and RH moves to 23 on the spine.
3. LH moves to 23 on the spine and RH goes to the base of the tail/coccyx area.
Hold each step until a rhythmic synchronized pulsation is felt under the fingertips of both hands before moving RH to the next step. Or if you can’t feel the pulses just hold for a few minutes and move on.

You can hold each step for 3 to 5 minutes. Animals don’t need long and they will let you know when they have had enough.
Typically animals only need a short session 5 – 20 minutes (max 45 minutes) once a week.
One treatment per day if you’re working on a project.
For very sick/weak animal’s shorter sessions more often are better. 5 – 10 minutes several times per day
Follow the above guidelines but be the artist. Design what you feel will help, while always listening to the animal, they will guide you.

Hi all it has been quite a while since I last posted but I am thinking of posting some flows for horses, working on larger animals means tailoring some flows to be able to reach the safety energy locks in the flow. Add a reply if there are any projects you would like to work with.

Part 10 – A few simple holds to finish

When things need to move;
Cross hands and hold 1s
This helps to bring movement – e.g. blood, fluids, food to go down, emotions etc.
Accident/Injury;
Hold same side 15 and the injury site (or near as possible)
Surgery – lots of 15 and same side 6 (and spleen flow)
All these holds and flows can be used for your pet or yourself.
Also the 11/25 and 11/15 holds shown on an earlier post helps everything on the side of the body you use it on...
E.g. sit or stand on your animal friendsLeft side and place your left hand (LH) on their left 11 and your right hand on their left 25, then left 15 to help the left side body. Swap sides and hands to help the right side body.

Finally love is important, love is everything but to harmonize the world we must first harmonize ourselves, so try the flows on yourself or just hold fingers.
Love breaks through all barriers.
Have fun...

Part 9.
Here is the last flow in the sequence of the 3 organ flows.
3. Bladder flow - Elimination
Helps all elimination and balance issues (including mental emotional balance), all bladder issues (it strengthens and tones the bladder). Great for any back projects, diarrhoea (right flow) and constipation (left flow).

SEQUENCE
Left Flow
Stand or sit on the left side of animal.
LH on L 12
RH on L 25
RH on L 8
RH on L 16
RH on L little toe
Right Flow – change hands and side - this is consistent with all flows so you can help both sides of the body.

With these 3 flows you have a way to help everything.
Left flow for more left side issues and right flow for more right side issues. But in the long run whenever you help one side you will always be helping the other.

Part 8.
Here is the second flow which is a digestion specialist and can be used for any digestion issues. The digestive system starts in the mouth and finishes with large intestine and a**s so any issues anywhere there. Its also about mental digestion so if your animal friend or yorself are having trouble digesting your world or 'the world' this is a great flow
2. Stomach flow - Digestion
Use for digestive, sinus, bloat, colic, appetite and weight projects, also helps anxious, nervous and skittish animals
This is a long flow and can be shortened if the animal has had enough. There is no ‘wrong way’ in JSJ – just using the first few steps will set the flow in motion.
Some animals are uncomfortable when you hold SEL 21 (when treating my cat I often rub her left ear while holding 21 – be creative and if the flow proves too long remove some of the steps to make it shorter.
There are several ways to do this flow. I find this best if the animal is standing but it can also be done if they are lying down but the hand position are different. If you have the Mary Burmeister self help books follow the steps for your animal friend if they are lying down.

SEQUENCE for standing
Left flow
Stand or sit on the left side of animal or stand a little over them as you go through the flow them.
1. LH on R21 (I often rub there face while doing this hold)
RH on L 22
2. RH moves to L 14
3. RH moves to L 23
4. RH moves to R 14
5. LH moves to L14 and RH goes to L High 1 (just above 1) both hands move in this step.
6. RH on R Low 8 (just below 8)
7. RH on second toe of Left back foot
As mentioned this flow may be a little difficult so you can just use the first step or even the last step 8 and little toe as a quickie.

Part 7
The next set of sequences or flows are 3 simple flows that can be used whenever you feel your animal friend needs them.
I will post one this week and follow up with the next two in the following post so you can have time to try them at a slower pace.

1. Spleen flow - ENERGISER
This is a great flow; it is useful to do for an animal that is soon to have surgery or has suffered any kind of abuse. Great for the worrier.
It energizes the entire body, aids the lymphatic and nervous system, helps red & white blood cells so is good for staff and strep infections. It is also helpful for allergies and allergic reactions.

This flow is more easily done when your animal friend is lying down.
Right Flow
Sit at your animal friends back with their right side facing you and their head to your left.
1. LH (left hand) on coccyx
RH (right hand) on R (right) 5
2. RH only moves to their L (left) 14
3. LH only moves to R 13
4. LH only moves to L 22

Reverse hands to work on the left side of the animal.

Hi again, how did you go using the Main Central flow as I mentioned It is also a nice to use on yourself and by using the flows on ourselves we become calmer and more centred and this calms our animal friends.
The Main Central flow harmonizes the entire body system. We can also harmonize ourselves by holding our fingers and palm. Each finger helps an attitude and different systems in the body. Holding fingers seems simple but it’s very dynamic.

Part 6 - Basic flows
Hi there how did the connecting flow go? The next flow in the basic flows is the The Main Central this flow harmonizes everything in the body; so you can use it for any projects big or small and it can be applied daily for bigger projects.
Great for any spinal, hormonal or endocrine condition, also good to use before and after surgery.
If you look further down in the posts you will find this flow and a video of the flow being given.
SEQUENCE
Stand or sit on the left side of animal.
1. Left Hand (LH) on center top of head (LH stays on center top of head throughout flow)
Right Hand (RH) on center 12 (center back of neck)
2. RH moves to center scapula (center 11, 3,10, 9).
(These points can be held individually or together depending on size of the animal).
3. RH moves to center 23
4. RH moves to base of tail (coccyx)

Hold each step until a rhythmic synchronized pulsation is felt under the fingertips of both hands before moving RH to the next step.
For animals in good health doing the MCV quick version once weekly is usually enough. For animals with “projects”, applying the MCV more often is sometimes needed.

This flow can also be used on ourselves daily, please see the earlier post from June 7th/2019 below which gives the chart and information for using the Main Central flow on yourself.

Part 5 – Basic flows
Hi again, now you have had the time to familiarise yourself and practise each of the SELs we will look at some basic flows.
1. Connecting / centering flow
This flow is a great flow to use to initially connect with an animal.
It brings abundance and limitless life force and helps an animal to feel safe in the world. It helps them change their experience of life.
It also helps breathing, coughs, allergies, fertility, pregnancy, to learn new routines and it is great for animals that have been abused, neglected or abandoned.
