To our valued friends and whānau

We have been navigating these uncertain times of physio’s ‘reopening’ under Level 3. While we are eager to welcome everyone back into the clinic, we have decided the risk is still too great to ‘open the doors’ as normal, HOWEVER we do have the ability to see clients for FACE-2-FACE appointments if you meet certain criteria. The health of YOU, our valued clients, and our STAFF is our continuing priority.

The process –
• Contact us via phone or email to make a booking
• A screening phone call will take place to determine eligibility for a face-2-face appointment
• Please understand that these appointments will be available over REDUCED HOURS & CAPACITY due to Health & Safety procedures to minimize risk for everyone.

As per the Governments Health Professional mandate, ALL our staff are fully vaccinated.

We look forward to the day we can ‘open the doors’ once again and welcome you all back. In the meantime we are SO GRATEFUL for all your continuing support and understanding in these uncertain times.

Ngā mihi nui,
Kiri & Karen

Are headaches or migraines negatively affecting your life?

It is now commonly understood that headaches and migraines are caused by a sensitized nervous system, specifically hypersensitivity of the brainstem region.

The Watson Headache Approach is used to identify a problem with the upper neck and then treat this problem to decrease brainstem sensitivity.

LEVEL 2 - RE-OPENING
We will be re-opening the clinic for appointments from Friday 15th May 2020. Online consults are still recommended as the preferred option by MoH and the Physiotherapy Board during level 2 - particularly for high risk / vulnerable populations - however if you meet certain criteria you can be seen face-to-face in the clinic.
Please contact us to discus which is the best option for you.

We look to your continued support and helping you recover from your injuries.

Kia ora Greenhithe!

The team from Body Repair Physiotherapy hope you all have been managing during lockdown and making the most of the situation we find ourselves in ... whether that is spending more quality time with loved ones in your bubble or ticking off some of those pesky jobs around the house that always seem to drop off the priority list!

With the country moving to LEVEL 3 on Tuesday 28th April, I wanted to update you on what that means for the clinic. Notification from our Physiotherapy Board and the Ministry of Health is that we are to continue seeing clients via Telehealth. This means the clinic will continue to be physically closed but we will continue with providing physiotherapy services online via Zoom.

We are hopeful that on the 11th May we will move to Level 2.
We are still waiting on announcements on what our requirements at Level 2 will be, but we are hopefully that we will be able to open our doors again and see clients within the clinic. We will continue to adhere to all recommended health guidelines to ensure safety of clients and staff alike.

In the meantime, please get in touch if you need any advise / assessment / help with an injury or pain. We look forward to continuing to assist you with your injuries and pain both now and in the future.

Stay safe out there,
Nga mihi

ONLINE CONSULTS
Kia ora! Hope you are all safe and well and staying healthy.

During the COVID-19 shutdown I am happy to let you know that I can now do online consults during this period. If you have a new injury that will be covered by ACC we are able to register new claims.

While hands-on treatment is not possible, you may find advice and self management strategies that we can help with beneficial with managing your injuries/pain during the isolation period.

Stay safe and well
