I keep starting. I just can't seem to stick."

That's what a new client told me last week.

At 50 years old, knows he needs to move more, has tried a few times β€” but life gets in the way, motivation dips, and before long he's back to square one.

Sound familiar?

Here's what I've learned after working with hundreds of people his age: it's rarely about willpower.

It's about having the wrong setup.

When there's no one expecting you to show up, it's too easy to quietly disappear.

When the programme doesn't fit your body β€” your dodgy shoulder, your stiff knees, your busy week β€” it falls apart fast.

That's not failure. That's just a bad system.

What Mark actually needs isn't more motivation.

He needs a structured programme built around him, a coach who notices when he goes quiet, and a room full of people his own age doing the same thing.

Done for the year! Pleased i got it done, 6 mins slower but ill take the win! So much fun!

I just took a Biological Age Test and at 47. My result came back as 40.

I built this tool for our Growing Younger clients.

But I tested it on myself first and I'm pretty stoked with that number.

It takes about 2 minutes and looks at things like your strength, how active you are, sleep, lifestyle habits, even whether you're on medication for anything.

Then it gives you your biological age. Not how old you are on paper, but how old your body is actually functioning at.

ONE Exercise to Build Complete Core Strength After 50 (You will Love this)

If you're over 50, there's a simple banded core exercise almost nobody does, but it's the key to a stronger core & better day to day strength and And best of all, it only takes a few minutes 3 times a week

In today's video, I'm going to show you what it is and how to do it safely at home with just a resistance band.

To train the core most people use good old fashioned crunches, or planks and end up with pain in their necks or lower backs and they never get the true benefit of the exercise.

But what we want is to hit every function of the core muscles in one move to save you time and remove any chance of injury. And in fact as soon as you get into position you fee your whole core light up immediately.

The exercise is the seated Palofpress and Knee lift .

You core moves in a couple of ways it flexes your abs, it rotates and stabilises your body and it lifts your legs

I've been very greatful that Gethin wants to come with me on my long runs!
