Paula Yeatman Counsellor Paula Yeatman is a counsellor offering counselling for individuals and couples in Auckland. I look forward to meeting and working with you.

I am a counsellor with a Masters degree in Counselling from The University of Auckland and full membership of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors. I work with adolescents, men and women, heterosexual, gay and le***an individuals, and couples, across relationship, identity, grief, loss, anxiety, depression, anger, stress, addiction and substance abuse, commitment and acceptance issues. I have developed a practice that draws on experience and expertise in a variety of settings. I draw on a number of modalities including client centred, narrative, psychodynamic, creative therapies and CBT options like ACT Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing. I am constantly learning, attending workshops and developing my professional practice, the outcomes and key messages I will share on this page. It is all about "exploring, understanding, together, in confidence"

Today I added something special to my counselling room. I have been meaning to do this for so long. Finally the signs of procrastination, and talk around 'maybe' and 'soon' went - I just did it - and now this dehumidifying, cleansing spathiphyllum is in place! My first client to see it loved it. This reminded me how special growing and flowering things are for our health and for our mental health!
