As of July 1st, 2024, prescription charges are back in effect. This means a $5 per item co-payment collected by the government. But don't worry—exemptions apply!

Who's exempt?

1. Patients aged 65 and over 🌿
2. Children under 14 👶
3. Individuals with a Community Services Card 💙
4. Families who've reached the exemption count of 20 items (equivalent to $100 per year) 🎉

Fast service and great advice remain FREE! ☺️

Hello everyone,

Trust you're all busy getting into the holiday spirit!

Just a friendly reminder that our last full day this year will be Friday 23rd December.

We will be closed on all public holiday dates as well as the weekend.

We'll be open for half days on 28-30 December (9am - 1pm) as a courtesy service. Please note the Doctors next door will still be closed.

Our normal hours will resume from Wednesday 4th January.

Hi everyone,

We have had to close today as our staff have tested positive for Covid.

The earliest we can open at this point is Monday 31srt October.

We are desperately working to find cover so we can open earlier - watch this space.

In the mean time, Unichem Pukekohe Pharmacy on West St has very kindly offered to look after our patients for a few days. You can reedirect your prescriptions to them or call them on 09 237 0286.

I completed my internship at Pukekohe South Pharmacy before moving to Middlemore Hospital where I worked as a clinical pharmacist for over 5 years.

I'm very excited to be back in Pukekohe and look forward to meeting you all!

Hi everyone:

I regret to inform you that we are permanently closing Pukekohe South Pharmacy. Our last day will be on the 1st of April 2022.

Unfortunately over the last few years, with increasing work related stress and Covid-19 trading challenges, we have decided to take a break from the business and focus on our health and family first.

At this stage:

• All business as usual until the 1st of April 2022.
• Marie will be here until the last day (welcome to drop by and say goodbye)
• After 1st of April 2022 you can still access your repeats / prescriptions / records from Gary Logan Pharmacy. Gary is an experienced pharmacist in Pukekohe and will continue to look after you.

It was a pleasure working in Pukekohe and knowing you all. I wish you all the best.
