It was great having our Queensland OZTAG Referees attend the NZTFI Junior Tag Nationals 2023 held at Bruce Pullman Park.

Thank you to these two gentlemen Fatu & Ray for having the initiative as part of their referee development program to selecting Development referees to give them an experience to officiate in another country.

We do it all over again next weekend at the Senior Oceania Cup this time NSW OZTAG Referees have been invited along with Queensland.

Proposed International Tag Series Tournament November 11-13 2022 at Bruce Pulman Park, Takanini … The tournaments will run concurrently in Australia, NZ and Ireland hosting heritage nations and contingents within each country in an international tag series tournament. This was brought about by the ITF’s postponement of the 2021 Tag World Cup and continued issues with the Global covid crisis … watch this space 🤞👍👍

Happy New Year Everyone … here are the dates for the up coming Referee Clinics:

- Sunday 23 January
- Sunday 13 February
- Sunday 27 February
- Sunday 13 March

All Clinics are at Rowandale School and start at 8:30am-12pm

Referees who wish to be considered for selection at the Junior and Senior Nationals must attend at least 2 of these clinics.

Referees outside of Auckland who cannot make these need to attend a workshop their Regional Coordinator will hold (details to follow).
