Illnesses in the family that weren’t responding to conventional treatment first drew Suresh Rama, the owner of Lambs Pharmacy & Natural Therapies Centre, to the use of natural medicines. Along with his wife he set up Lambs Pharmacy and Natural Therapies in 1994 to provide natural remedies, homeopathy, and ayurvedic medicine to the local community, and clients throughout Auckland and beyond. Lambs Pharmacy has been a feature of Karangahape Road since 1898 and became Lambs Pharmacy & Natural Therapies Centre in 1994. It is an important part of a vibrant community, providing a wide range of natural products for health and beauty, plus ayurvedic and homeopathic consultations, along with a medicine dispensary and prescription service. Prevention is better than cure is part of the philosophy at Lambs Pharmacy. A holistic approach is taken, where every customer is treated as a unique individual. The staff are happy to help and offer advice on any health conditions and believe strongly in treating the person not just the illness.
