This week we’re joining communities across Aotearoa to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Week — a time to pause, connect, and .
At Franklin Hospice, we know how important it is to look after our mental wellbeing — whether you’re caring for others, grieving a loss, or simply navigating everyday life. 💛
This year’s theme encourages us to refill our emotional “tank” by focusing on the Five Ways to Wellbeing:
🌿 Connect – Reach out to friends, whānau, or neighbours.
🤲 Give – Offer a kind word, a smile, or a helping hand.
👣 Take Notice – Slow down and appreciate the small moments.
💪 Be Active – Move your body in a way that feels good.
🧠 Keep Learning – Try something new or rediscover an old hobby.
