September is Cervical Screening Awareness Month 🩷

It's your annual reminder to take a test that could save your life. If you’re between 25 and 69 years old and you have a cervix, you need to have an HPV screen every five years. Having a screening reduces your risk of developing cervical cancer. There is now a new self-swab option available, where you can do the test yourself in private at your GP clinic. If you would like to book an appointment, contact our friendly reception team on 09 827 8888.

Read more about Blue September on our website, linked below.

Blue September is held every year to remind men to look after their health. The month raises awareness about illnesses that affect men, in particular prostate cancer and testicular cancer, but it also encourages men to take care of their overall wellbeing.   What is prostate cancer?
