As Pink Shirt Day comes to a close, we’re reminded that today was about more than wearing pink.

It was a moment to reflect on the power of kindness, the importance of speaking up, and the role we all play in helping others feel safe, seen and supported.

This is the kind of space we strive to create - today, and everyday.

Fäeag Rotuam ta 10–16 May 🌿

Language is identity, knowledge, and belonging. Honouring the beauty and strength of the Rotuman language as we learn, share, and uplift our culture together.

A reminder of the importance of keeping our language alive for generations to come 💛

To all our māmā — in every form, in every season — we honour you 🌸

From those who gave us life to those who chose us,
from grandmothers, aunties, sisters, to māmā in waiting —
your love moves through generations.

In our vā, you are the steady thread —
holding, nurturing, connecting.

To those carrying love through grief, waiting, or quiet strength —
you are seen, you are valued, you belong 🤍

All kinds of māmā.
All kinds of love.
One shared gratitude.

Happy Mother’s Day 💛
