At Birthcare we offer a wide range of high-quality services to support mums, dads, family and whānau throughout your maternity journey.

We have a proud history of offering parents and their baby the very best of care and putting our people first. Birthcare is a modern, purpose built primary maternity hospital situated in the heart of Parnell, overlooking the museum. At Birthcare we provide 24hour care for birthing and postnatal women and their families/whanau. We have a flexible postnatal stay for up to 3 nights following your baby's birth. The care includes lactation consultant services at Birthcare as well as after discharge and 24hour midwifery care and support. Your meals are catered for and guest meals can be purchased. We also welcome transfers from Auckland hospital. Free antenatal courses, refresher classes and breastfeeding classes are also available. Birthcare Huntly is a fully funded Primary Birthing Unit but you can also transfer from Waikato for Postnatal stays
