Bereavement pānui on behalf of the Campbell whanau regarding the passing of their beloved father, John (Jack) Ratahi Campbell who sadly passed away in Whangarei on Sunday 8th February 2025. The whānau have advised that a private cremation has taken place today, Monday the 9th of February. A memorial service will be held at a later date, details of the memorial service will be shared when the information is made available to us.

Bereavement pānui on behalf of the Te Hira whānau regarding the passing of their beloved, brother uncle and cousin, Lance Cameron Te Hira, who sadly passed away on Friday the 6th of February 2026 in Whangārei.

Matua is currently at Haven Falls Funeral Home and will depart shortly for Pehiaweri Marae, where he will lay in state for the duration of his hui mate. The whānau have advised that the funeral service for matua will take place, at 9am on Monday the 9th of February, followed by a burial service at Taiharuru urupa.

At 10am Saturday 7th February 2026, the whanau will walk Mum to her piringa whare- Arohanui ki te Tangata- Waiwhetu Mārae, Puketapu Grove

Ope are welcome Saturday 7th February at 2.30pm and 4.30pm and Sunday 8th February at 9.30, 11.30am, 2.30pm,4.30pm

To ensure the wellbeing of everyone during this Tangihanga, please stay home if you are unwell.

Karakia will commence each night at 7pm

Rā nehu is Monday 9th February 2026, 11am at Waiwhetū Marae, Puketapu Grove followed by burial at Owhiti Urupā, Seaview then returning to Waiwhetu Marae for a Kai whakanoa.

Whaea is currently in the care of her whanau. The whanau will be travelling to Tipapa Marae, Murupara on Sunday, 1st February 2026, where whaea will lay until her service. Whanau have advised that the funeral service will take place, on Tuesday, 03rd February 2026, at Tipapa Marae, Murupara, time to be confirmed. Followed by graveside burial at Rangitahi Urupa.

A message from the family;
Mum will be arriving at 94 Kitchener Road later today (27/01/2026) and we will be receiving any guests who want to visit her from tomorrow.
