Our Story
Acupoint Med was established in 2003. Sean owner and therapist was wanting to establish a clinic that helps people manage their health, whether this is a current health concern a chronic problem or you are just wanting to maintain good health.
Our clinic utilizes a number of therapies, Acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Tuina (chinese massage ) Qi gong and Japanese therapies Soseitai , Sotai, Seiho of which can be used for structural balancing and to improve health.
Interest in this medicine started while Sean was living in Japan and studying martial arts. A shoulder injury that didn’t resolve well with conventional; medical treatment quickly recovered with treatment s of acupuncture , herbal medicine this sparked him to learn more and eventually establish a clinic.
As a qualified chef Sean has an interest in dietary therapy and the way food affects health, 9 years as chef in a vegetarian restaurant in Japan has aided that experience.
