Last week I spoke to the women at Bayleys Real Estate about nutrition and hormones.

And the energy in that room? 🧡 It reminded me exactly why this work matters.

We live in a world where women are bombarded with food noise every single day.

The 90s gave us low-fat everything.
Social media gives us a new “rule” every scroll.

Eat this. Avoid that. Track everything. Trust no one.

It’s exhausting. Confusing. And for so many women, completely paralysing.

The positive is…
That When women get clear on what their body actually needs, especially around their hormones,.Energy. Confidence. & Peace with food shifts!

That’s why I’m so passionate about bringing these conversations into corporate spaces. Women deserve to be supported at work, not just pushed to perform.

I went on my first diet at 15.
FIFTEEN.
And the #1 rule? Avoid fat at all costs. 🙅‍♀️

So I did. For years. And it made everything worse.
Here’s what nobody told us during the low-fat 90s era:
❌ Eating fat doesn’t make you fat.
Visceral fat comes from stress, poor sleep, processed food, and chronic dieting..not avocado or olive oil.
Yet I still hear women say:
→ “I can’t eat that, it has fat in it”
→ “Fat = weight gain”
→ “I’ve tried everything and nothing works”

You weren’t failing. You were following the wrong map.

Putting yourself first isn’t selfish.
It’s actually the most generous thing you can do for everyone around you. 💛
I see it all the time with the women I work with, doctors, nurses, managers, mothers.. running themselves into the ground whilst everyone else gets the best of them.

And when I ask when they last did something just for themselves?
The pause says everything.

Reminder;
You cannot pour from an empty cup.
And the version of you that’s patient, present, thriving, confident, dressed in clothes that feel like HER ✨she needs to be nourished first.

Not as a reward. Not when everything else is done.
Now. Daily. Unapologetically.

I watched my client Ellie have a massive lightbulb moment this week. 💡
