7.00pm - 8.15pm

This Thursday at 7pm I'll be hosting another evening workshop at the amazing Kindred Chiropractic clinic in Browns Bay.

This one’s for the parents navigating eczema, allergies, itchy skin, tricky foods...and the overwhelm that comes with it all!
We’ll dive into the root causes of eczema and atopy, including what’s happening in the gut, what food triggers might be playing a role, and how to support healing from the inside out. I’ll cover different types of dermatitis, treatment approaches (both conventional and natural), and simple, nourishing tools you can actually use at home.
I’m so looking forward to sharing some of my favourite foundations for skin health from the inside out. including food, herbs, and lifestyle ideas you can start straight away.
You’ll go home with a handout, a tea sample (The Bee Brew: gentle support for little tummies, also a lovely ritual for tired mums...I am one!), and a sweet lil recipe idea: chamomile and apple gut-loving gummies.

On Thursday 10 July at 7pm, I’m running a relaxed, info-filled evening for parents who want to keep their families well this winter. Without living at the pharmacy.

We’ll chat practical immune-boosting tips, everyday herbs, food-as-medicine, key nutrients/ supplements and small rituals that actually work (and can fit into your busy sched - trust me I. Get. It.)

I’m so excited to be hosting a few upcoming events! I’ll be coming out of me shell and sharing more info over the next few days!

First up, is something really important and sometimes misunderstood in Womens health:
Perimenopause! What it is, how it shows up, and how you can support yourself through it.

Once brushed off as 'hysteria' or 'just stress' 🙄😑😒, perimenopause/ menopause is finally being recognised for what it TRULY is - a significant hormonal shift and a powerful time of transformation in a woman’s life.

Perimenopause isn’t an overreaction. It’s a big but natural transition. And you deserve support through it.

So many women I speak to are moving through this shift without clear guidance or support. This workshop is about changing that 💛 offering knowledge, tools, and connection during a time that can feel a little hectic!

Happy New Year!! How we all doing in the first week of 2024 so far?
I hope your cups and hearts are full and your mind and soul clear and ready for a new adventure around the sun ☀
My new years wish for you (and me) is to lovingly let go of something (big or small) that didn't serve your happiest, healthiest self. To also give it love and gratitude for helping you arrive at this very moment in this very year. It may not feel like a brand new chapter for you and that is okay too! It doesn't have to. For me it's been slow and steady and quiet with some mermaiding around in the sea and iced 'bee brews' mixed in there. A restful patch that has felt like a big yawn and stretch before a new day.

I'm not huge on big, grand New Years resolutions but there is something about those collective intentions we set at this time of year. It can be a nice time to take stock, be gentle with ourselves and others and to start implementing small daily practices that make you feel good ♥

Think like a plant and remember the basics as you step into 2024

Hi guys 👋 Some exciting news to announce for 2024!! From the 8th of Jan I'll be practicing Mondays and Wednesdays in person from the beautiful clinic space at ♥ Right by the beach Browns Bay. Bliss! Such an honour to join this team of gorgeous Women doing amazing things for the community. Huge thank you to Carita - the heart & soul behind this beautiful space.

My name is Sam Heazlewood, I am a Naturopath, Herbalist, Mother and many other things.

I graduated from Wellpark College of Natural Therapies (Auckland, NZ) with a Bachelor of Naturopathy and Certificate in relaxation massage in 2015. My love for nature and health started long before that. I am really passionate about helping others toward their health and wellbeing goals and to live healthier, happier lives.

Organic Medicinal Loose leaf tea blends: I have lovingly created a range of ORGANIC medicinal tea blends and regularly update this page with new brews! Custom blends are also available. All teas are available by post, I also do regular market days (see below).
