🎄 Decking the halls this weekend?

With Christmas lights going up all over Kumeu, we’re expecting the usual suspects - sore necks, twingy backs, achy shoulders and the occasional ladder mishap.

A few quick tips while you’re decorating:
✔ Take breaks and don’t rush
✔ Use a stable ladder and get someone to spot you
✔ Avoid over-reaching - climb down and reposition instead
✔ If it starts to hurt, listen to your body

Remember to have a hmmmm! And if something doesn’t feel quite right after the decorating marathon, we’re here to help keep you moving comfortably into the festive season.

📅 Appointments are filling fast before Christmas - book online or give us a call 09 412 9063 to avoid the last-minute rush.

If your feet are feeling tight or tender, we can help settle things quickly and keep you moving comfortably all summer.

👣🏄‍♀️Heading out for summer surf sessions or long beach walks?

This time of year we see a spike in plantar fasciitis and foot/heel pain - often caused by the sudden switch from supportive winter shoes to jandals, or taking those bare feet walking for miles on the sand.

Add in surfing (with lots of repetitive foot loading, popping up, and balancing) and it’s the perfect recipe for tight calves, overloaded arches, and irritated fascia.

If your feet are feeling tender, tight, or sharp first thing in the morning, don’t wait for it to 'come right' on its own. Early treatment makes a big difference.

📞 Book online: www.kumeuphysio.co.nz or call 09 412 9063

💚 Local care, expert physiotherapy, right here in Kumeu.
