Passing of New Zealand Humanitarian

It is with immense sadness that the Wright Family announces the passing of Chloe Wright at her home in Omokoroa, Tauranga this weekend.

As a humanitarian Chloe dedicated her life to helping others, particularly young mothers, and children, in overcoming disadvantage and creating positive pathways toward full and happy lives.

Chloe was a force for positive change in the lives of thousands of New Zealanders, matriarch of her own loving family and life partner to husband Wayne.

Her family ask for privacy as they come to terms with this enormous loss.

Today was an amazing hui 👏🏽💯
The power of our community rallying to support our birthing centre was evident.

Organised by the outstanding Save Nga Hau consumer group 🥰 and Southside Aiga Midwives practice😍 Shoutout to Nana Ofisa & her team for the kai!

The voices of Mama, Papa & whanau resounded deeply of appreciation of the service they received at Nga Hau Mangere BC ...and the waiata at meetings end was superb! 🎶

We hope the 5 reps of the cross party candidates for Mangere were listening.
* Fund this public service because the Wright Foundation has till now
* Whanau life starts from pregnancy & birth - Dad's need to be present
* This model of care responds to ALL but especially to Maori & Pacific
* Investing in quality maternal & child health saves lives later
