Celebrating 25 years of teaching Yoga!

Immense gratitude to my teachers especially Vasudeva, Donna, Olive, Otto and Bonnie, my dear colleagues especially Lisa, Sam, Neal, Zoe, Haidee, Sandy, Vanessa, Martina and Esther, and all my marvellous, inspiring students and trainees over the years. In gratitude for my creative team Todd, Suzanne and Karen. In gratitude for the incredible internal and external journeys especially throughout India and with my beloved community in Nepal.

I am grateful for the discipline of study and practice that has cultivated a freedom, ground and space throughout the wildness and ordinariness of life.

Our monthly tonic of dance + rest is happening this coming Sunday afternoon 4 - 5.30pm. We will explore a theme, dance to 4-5 tracks then nestle into restorative practice followed by a cup of tea and treats.

Woohoo ✨ it feels like an auspicious time to launch my brand new website https://samloe.yoga as we arrive at Winter Solstice 🌞time here in Aotearoa, New Zealand.

Traditionally solstice rituals celebrate the energy of transformation, creativity, and new beginnings as we welcome our hopes and dreams with the return of more light. Now feels like the perfect time to share my new offerings to support you in nourishing your yoga practice.

I have recorded a free Yoga Nidra to celebrate this beginning whether you are tuning into summer or winter energies and you will find this deeply restful practice in the blog section of my new website entitled Solstice Sleep Meditation.
