Some of you may or may not be aware that Tash...me ;) Is also a transformative life coach.

I recently went on a coaching course to learn a new technique and reconnected with an awesome coach called Pania of Pania's Positive Journeys and through spending 3 full on days in this very intimate course together, there were only 4 of us on it, we came up with the idea of starting up a podcast about coaching.

So here is our very first episode, it's a little introduction on what we aim to do with these podcasts and hopefully you will join us on our adventures. 🎉❤️

A little something different for you all today. I have started a ...

Monday Mudra - Surya Mudra - Gesture of the Sun for activating the Fire element ❤️‍🔥

Tejas means "light" or "brillance," and is the name for the fire element,
whose qualities include energy, warmth, luminosity, radiance and the power
of transformation.

Within the physical body, the fire element provides the heat required for digestion and optimal assimilation of nutrients.

At a subtle level, fire is the power of transformation that allows us to digest life experiences completely, absorbing the lessons we need while releasing accumulated emotions and memories.

This optimal digestion in the body and mind allows us to live with radiant health and vitality.

The fire element is related to the sense of sight, allowing us to see our life purpose more clearly while providing the energy and determination to manifest it completely.

At the spiritual level, the fire element enhances discernment, the power to discriminate between the limited personality and our limitless true being.

Surya is one of the "solar deities," and Surya mudra activates the fire element
and supports the integration of its qualities.

This gesture directs breath,
awareness and energy into the solar plexus, the seat of the fire element, instilling a sense of energy and vitality while removing lethargy.

The enhanced breathing in the area of the diaphragm and solar plexus cultivated by this gesture increases circulation to the organs of digestion, supporting their optimal functioning.

As Surya mudra enhances energy and vitality, Manipura chakra, located at the center of the solar plexus, opens naturally.

This energetic opening cultivates personal power, determination and self-esteem, allowing us to clarify our life purpose and manifest it completely.

This gesture supports the sense of sight and may be used together with exercises for the health of the eyes.

Monday Mudra on a Tuesday
Trishula mudra -gesture of the trident - non-duality

The sixth chakra, Ajna, which means "center of command," is located at the third eye, between the eyebrows.

The main theme of this energy center is
developing a vision of unity beyond all questions, doubts and dualities at the level of the personality.

This vision of unity allows us to discern clearly
between our limitless true Self and the limited personality.

The process of
moving beyond the play of opposites is represented by the lotus of the sixth chakra, with its two violet petals that are often placed on either side of an
all-seeing eye of wisdom.

Before the awakening of the third eye, we tend to
see all of life as a play of opposites: success and failure, loss and gain that
naturally create tension and conflict.

As we move beyond duality through awakening wisdom and clarity, we come to see life's ups and downs as a
process of exploration and learning that ultimately leads to a vision of unity.

Trishula means "trident," and is the symbol of Shiva, the deity that represents
spiritual transformation through sustained discipline.

The trident symbolizes
Shiva's three eyes, the two physical eyes plus the eye of wisdom between the
eyebrows. Trishula mudra gently directs breath, awareness and energy to the sixth chakra, facilitating the opening of the third eye, awakening the wisdom
and one-pointed concentration that allow us to see beyond dualities.

This gesture slows the train of thoughts, allowing us to witness them more easily
rather than identifying with them and subsequently reacting unconsciously.

In the silent space between thoughts cultivated by this gesture, we are able to perceive our true being as the unchanging background for all our thoughts, feelings and beliefs.

Trishula mudra gradually leads us to this vision of clarity, revealing our essential nature as unity beyond all dualities.

Monday Mudra ⛰️ Bhu Mudra - Gesture of the earth

Prithivi means earth, and is the name of the earth element, whose qualities
include solidity, firmness, immobility, security and stability.

These are qualities
experienced within the physical body as strength and structural support, especially in the bones and joints.

The earth element is related to the sense of
smell, and as we connect more deeply to the earth, we are able to appreciate
all the fragrances of the natural world.

As we attune to the qualities of the
earth element within our being, we feel supported along our journey, with all
our basic needs provided for naturally.

At the psychological level, the earth element provides the emotional stability that allows us to move through life with a greater sense of trust and security, leading to enhanced serenity.

Bhu means "earth," and Bhu mudra activates the earth element, supporting
us in integrating all of its essential qualities. In this gesture, the body forms a
mountain shape, naturally cultivating a sense of stability and grounding.

This sense of grounding is further enhanced by the activation of Apana vayu, the downward moving current of energy that naturally supports the eliminatory system in functioning optimally.

As we develop greater stability and grounding, we naturally inhabit our bodies more completely, further enhancing our sense of security.

This enhanced sense of embodiment facilitates optimal postural alignment.

Bhu mudra opens and balances Muladhara chakra, further enhancing our sense of support and stability, allowing us to meet our survival needs more objectively, while releasing excessive fear and anxiety.
