Our workshops with Jill Mulvaney and Benoit Roger are all confirmed for Auckland (Oct 25/26) and Christchurch (Nov 1/2).

Community Herbalism runs for 5 weeks beginning August 5th. It will deepen your awareness of medicinal plants growing underfoot, and help you understand their benefits.

We’ll forage, harvest, help plan your garden, teach you simple and effective herbal remedies, and make nutritious food.

This is Benoit Roger, our amazing friend and colleague from Alchemia Solutions in Quebec.

We have some exciting news - he’s coming to New Zealand! We have two amazing workshops planned (more on that soon) and he’s going to have some time for private workshops too.

But first, for those who don’t know Benoit, here is a bit about him that begins to explain why you really should come and meet him…

Benoit is a Canadian-based phytochemist, and the CEO of Alchemia Solutions, a company dedicated to the research and exploration of the plant world. His work involves teaching workshops, consulting on distillation start-ups, and the design and production of top-quality stainless steel stills and equipment. He holds a PhD in Natural Products Chemistry from the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis in France, and combines this knowledge of plant chemistry, essential oils, the processes and production of equipment with a deep love of plants.

He’s brilliant to work with, and he’s even better to learn with.
