Measles and Boostrix vaccine now available at Westgate Pharmacy!

Were you born/on after 1st January 1969 and have not had two doses of MMR vaccine?
If your answer to above is yes, you will need the MMR vaccine to help you protect against measles.

Boostrix vaccine:
For prevention of tetanus, diphtheria, and whooping cough (pertussis)
Eligibility criteria are the following but not limited to:
* A single dose for pregnant women 13 years+ in 2nd or 3rd trimester of each pregnancy

*A single dose for vaccination of patients aged from 65 years old

*A single dose for vaccination of patients age from 45 years old who have not had 4 previous tetanus doses

*For vaccination of previously unimmunised or partially immunised patients

*For revaccination following immunosuppression

*For boosting of patients with tetanus-prone wounds
