COMING SOON!!!
Blind Golf Australia will be launching its new series called DRIVING IN THE DARK…. During the upcoming NSW Blind Golf Open and the BGA Classic DRIVING IN THE DARK will officially start with interviews, videos and an in-depth look at not only the sport of Blind Golf, but also Golf in general, including disability golf. While it will be informative and a great chance to get to know some inspiring athletes and their caddies, it also promises to be very entertaining
as host Darren Solly (Sol) and Co-Host Mark Eschbank (Eschy) attempt to navigate the complex and scary world of content creation. It is fair to say that neither Sol or Eschy have much in common with the late Apple Co-Founder Steve Jobs so there will be plenty of mistakes along the way! This series only focus is to promote the sport of Blind Golf and show what these athletes are capable of. We hope you can join us and enjoy watching these two dinasours bring fun and informative content to you , and hopefully it will give you an insight into what it takes to play this extremely challenging sport with a serious Vision Impairment (Blind or Legally Blind) Cabramatta Golf Club 2GB Sydney Amplify Travel Australia England & Wales Blind Golf South African Blind Golf Association Blind Golf Canada American Blind Golf Whaleback Golf Course Ross Frame Christian Hamilton Karen Harding Phil Giles Trent Slater Blind Golf Germany @

Great information below to share with others during Blindness Awareness Month of October!

🌍 October is Blindness Awareness Month 👁️‍🗨️

Every day, over 2.2 billion people worldwide live with some form of vision impairment — and yet blindness is still one of the most misunderstood disabilities.

Blindness isn’t the end of sight. It’s the beginning of a different kind of vision — one built on sound, touch, intuition, memory, and resilience.

💬 Did you know?
• 90% of people who are blind or visually impaired still have some usable sight.
• Accessibility isn’t a luxury — it’s independence.
• The greatest barrier isn’t blindness itself… it’s assumption.

This month, take a moment to listen, learn, and see the world through a wider lens.
🔵 Ask questions.
🔵 Support inclusive design.
🔵 Amplify blind voices.

Because awareness isn’t about feeling sorry — it’s about seeing differently. 💙
