The funding model for community pharmacy needs to change if 12 month prescriptions go ahead. A $42 million drop in income for any industry for the same, if not more work, is not ok. This will not be sustainable for any community pharmacy.

Some community pharmacies could be forced to close up over a potential $42 million loss in revenue from extended prescription periods, the industry group warns.
