Believe it or not, there is actually an optimal way to sit on the toilet to help you move your bowels. Unfortunately, modern toilets don't encourage this position!

To help get into this position:
🚽 Use a footstool
🚽 Keep your feet flat
🚽 Relax your tummy
🚽 Use the squatting position, with your knees above your hips

Thank you for your support and participation last month during World Continence Week 2025. We are so grateful to those who hosted a Wee Chat, shared our resources and videos, and/or just got people talking about continence – including our friend Jason Gunn, who, once again, supported our campaign this year!

With our campaign video being viewed 53.4K times, our campaign content being "Liked" or shared 431 times, and 4.4K campaign emails sent – it's clear to us that everyone was talking about continence!

A special thanks to Aotearoa Gaming Trust and Pub Charity Limited whose support made this year's campaign possible!

You can find all the information, resources, and links we've shared throughout the week on our website: https://bit.ly/worldcontinenceweek2025
