Daily Marama with Tamara

Maramataka: Tamatea Ananga
Energy: Unpredictable energy
Date: 23 May

Today’s moon brings unpredictable energy so this is your reminder to let go of control and go with the flow 🤍

Not everything needs to be forced today.
Sometimes the best thing you can do is slow down, listen to the signs around you, and trust your instincts.

🌿 Advice

• Let go of needing to control everything
• Listen to the signs and feelings around you
• Pause before reacting to stressful situations
• Bring humor and laughter into your day
• Take a breath and soften your thinking
• Move with an “it is what it is” mindset

Some situations today may feel unexpected or intense but trying to force control can make things bigger than they need to be.

Instead:
✨ Laugh a little
✨ Breathe a little deeper
✨ Flow a little softer

That energy will help carry you through the day with more ease.

Remember, unpredictable energy isn’t here to break you
it’s here to teach you flexibility and trust.

See you tomorrow for another Daily Marama moon energy reading 🌙

🌿 Advice
• Let go of needing to control outcomes
• Take deep breaths when stress rises
• Practice self-love and aroha
• Stay flexible when unexpected things happen

✨ Flowing instead of forcing
✨ Trusting instead of fearing
✨ Loving yourself through uncertainty

Go gently 🤍

🌙 Daily Marama with Tamara

Maramataka: Ōuenuku
Energy: Balanced energy
Date: 20 May

Today’s moon Ōuenuku brings balanced energy a beautiful time to discover who you truly are 🤍

Instead of asking:
“Who am I?”

Try affirming:
“I am who I am.”

That shift creates clarity, grounding, and stability within yourself.

🌿 Advice

• Observe your habits without judgement
• Reflect on your daily actions and patterns
• Speak kindly and confidently to yourself
• Journal who you are becoming
• Stay grounded in your authentic self
• Trust your own energy and identity

Manifestation isn’t something only witches or psychics do
we are all manifesting every single day through:
• Our thoughts
• Our behaviours
• Our routines
• The energy we embody

When you observe yourself clearly and stop judging who you are, you begin to understand what you’re creating in your life.

The more grounded and confident you become in yourself, the easier it is to attract what truly aligns with you.

You don’t need to become someone else.
You just need to fully embody the vibrations that already make you uniquely you ✨

Daily Marama with Tamara

Maramataka: hoata
Energy: Balanced energy
Date: 19 May

Today’s moon hoata brings balanced energy a beautiful time to observe your everyday routines and behaviours without judgement 🤍

This is a reminder that the small things we do daily shape our long-term future.

We are all manifesting every day through:
• Our habits
• Our routines
• Our reactions
• The way we care for ourselves

🌿 Advice
• Observe your routines without judgement
• Notice your self-talk around “should”
• Reflect on how you regulate your energy
• Journal your habits and patterns
• Be curious instead of critical
• Support your nervous system gently

Today we also talked about stimming repetitive movements or sounds many autistic people use to regulate energy and prevent sensory overload.

This can look like:
• Hand movements
• Repeating words or sounds (echolalia)
• Rocking or pacing
• Fidgeting or movement

These are not “bad habits” they are often natural regulation tools for the nervous system.

✨ We’re also continuing our work with Auckland Council supporting environmental adaptation and disability communities because accessibility doesn’t just help one group… it benefits everyone.

🌙 Daily Marama with Tamara

Maramataka: Tirea
Energy: Low energy
Date: 18 May

Today’s moon Tirea is carrying low energy so this is your reminder to prioritise yourself 🤍

Think of the marama like a power bar today…
it’s only giving us a small amount of energy, which means we need to be intentional with how we use it.

🌿 Advice
• Fill up your own cup first
• Drink plenty of wai (water)
• Nourish yourself with kai (food)
• Slow your pace and reduce pressure
• Do a little extra self-care from your authentic place
• Speak kindly to yourself when negative chatter appears

Sometimes doing just a little bit more for yourself than usual can help shift self-doubt and bring your energy back into balance.

Low-energy days aren’t about pushing harder
they’re about supporting yourself so you have enough energy to move through the rest of the day.

✨ This is Daily Marama with Tamara sharing what the moon is doing daily, how it may affect you, and how you can work with the natural rhythms of time instead of against them.

🌙 Daily Marama with Tamara

Maramataka: Whiro (New Moon)
Energy: Low energy
Date: 17 May 2026

Today’s Whiro (new moon) energy is a reminder that slowing down is healthy, prioritise self-care, and put yourself first 🤍

During this phase:
• Melatonin is at its highest
• Serotonin and cortisol are at their lowest

Which can make it easier to feel tired, emotional, or hard on yourself.

🌿 Advice
• Drink plenty of wai (water)
• Speak kindly to yourself
• Use affirmations and karakia with intention
• Slow your pace and reduce pressure
• Nourish your body with kai
• Rest without guilt

There are studies exploring how water can hold memory and respond to intention.
So when you drink water with positive thoughts, affirmations, or karakia, you create a moment to replace negativity with care and awareness.

Sometimes winning the day simply means:
• Hydrating
• Breathing
• Resting
• Being gentle with yourself

Ataahua …

The sound of aroha, flooding the room, as we spent 2.5 hours in discussion on neurodiversity and complexity that comes with this kaupapa.

From wairua to urbanised life, we navigate stability of sensory, emotional regulation, through the environment and lived experience.

To protect, service and nurture the next generation of authentic thinkers.

These teachers were incredible.
