Fancy a trip to the pictures?

Last year, whilst visiting Amsterdam, I teamed up with to work on personal project. Since then, the “project” has snowballed, and now I am throwing a premier party to celebrate the hard work of everyone involved.

POWER is a mini motion picture and will be followed by a screening of Paris is Burning 🔥

In honour of pride month, all profits will be donated to supporting Aotearoa’s growing ballroom community

Link to tickets and event info can be found here: https://academycinemas.co.nz/movie/power

Or on my profile bio.

A massive thank you to Deion for making this project possible. Jakob if it wasn’t for you, the video files would still be sitting in the dark on a hard drive!

To all the other contributors, thank you for your input and inspiration

Shout out to for creating the kick-ass posters 🖤

Getting to work on this project was genuinely a dream come true. I remember going to see talk at fashion week in 2019, mentally I was not in a great space at the time. I had practically given up on the industry and photography… I.e. lost without my passion or a purpose. Hearing Grace speak gave me hope that maybe the future of visual media (which I dreamed of contributing to) wasn’t nearly as far away as I once imagined. I waited impatiently for 2 years to have this opportunity, finally I see the value of patience lol. Thank you for trusting me to help tell all these humans stories 🙏

When AIFA asked me to help capture their 2021 model cards I knew exactly how I was going to approach the brief. I wanted to shoot everything on Polaroid to create an archive, which till now, was missing in our history books. A polaroid archive of models living with a disability who are paving the way for a future of more inclusive media.

Sadly has been disrupted by the big C… but there’s nothing stopping us continually supporting our local designers and celebrating the joyful expression fashion gives us all 😘

A massive thank you to the team who made this possible: & on production + .daly 💄 + 👗 + 🙏

I hope I didn’t make any spelling mistakes or forget anyone 😬😅
